Two Hundred and Twenty-one

Connection once established
is unidirectional,
from nage to uke
but not the reverse.

Uke is fully accessible to nage,
while nage remains "hidden";
simultaneously slightly ahead
and behind.

Uke, free to move with autonomy,
is unable to intersect with nage
as points of intersection
become tangents on meeting.
